Lighting has been the Ariadne’s thread that led the project of the 6000sqm at Leopolda Station in Florence.
Studying lighting, we created atmospheres avoiding solid shapes, introducing the location as a warm and welcoming place to be. Working on different warm and cold points of light with different Kelvin and RGB shades, we highlighted hidden, darker and fascinated parts of the building.
In an industrial context, furniture is relevant and it has been included following a minimalist concept that uses wood and metal elements.
Entrance and meeting areas have been highlighted thanks to a printed carped, personalized in cut and shape.
Unexpected desk and furniture welcome the visitors bleding with the rest.
The idea was to track a path through the design of an empty place with broad spaces enhanced by a light system that enphasized the ambient.
