3.205mm height of Leonardo statue
Round structures, similar to the old carousel for childer, are built with wood materials and give shape to the italian pavillion.
A simple and elegant set built in the open air spaces of the Skolkovo Innovation Center, outside Moscow. From the first edition built up in 2018 with a single round module, this edition showed the idea of a real village made with several modules where people walks through them.
For the 2019 edition, Interexpo and Remigio Architects, realized a 3D statue of the famous “Leonardo Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man”, italian symbol of innovation and excellance. The statue, made in iron and steel, has been donated to the Skolkovo center to inspire and remember the estimated vision of Leonardo. Thanks to three different materials we highlighted the volumes of the body.
2019 marks the quincentennial of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, the Italian Renaissance master who died in May 1519. We designed the italian pavillion of ICE at the Start Up Village event in Russia, where Italy is country partner for the second year in a row. We tried to enhance the relation with the resident country through custom graphics with the style of russian constructivism.
